Hi,

I've noticed that quite a few listeners have attempted to load files via
the
'xspf' button in Icecast2 Server Status page. Up to this point, we have run
mp3 and ogg files, but due to the sheer number of xspf attempts, we have
decided to provide this type of functionality to our streams.

I know next to nothing about xspf, but have managed to create xspf files
using
fapg.

Now for the problem. Normally, all our pre-recorded shows are loaded via
crontab
to cycle through episodes of each show. Thus, each day we generate a
'today-xxx.
pls' file that has the current episode for 'xxx' show and is placed in
'~/radio
/current/mp3' folder. This works great.

Now, after creating xspf files, I have them placed in a new folder,
'~/radio/current/xspf'.

My question: when a listener clicks on 'XSPF' in Icecast Server Status
page,
will it automatically find the folder and the requested file? I am totally
unclear on how/where I should indicate the xspf folder location to Icecast2
server.

Perhaps this is not a question for lS list, but if someone could re-direct
me or
give a rudimentary explanation what I should do or what I'm doing wrong,
it would
be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
kronos
