It is not supported for now and we have no intent to do so in the near
future. We have nothing against shoutcast 2 per say and we may change
our position if our objections are cleared in the future.

AOL's licensing term are dubious and unclear. AOL claims a patent
licensing on any implementation of the protocol, under a license that
is non transferable and non sublicenseable.

It is our understanding that AOL is targeting implementations of the
protocol into a single software product and that's it. As such, this
license terms do not appear to allow implementation in a library,
which may be re-used, shared and modified by others.

For this reason, we do not think that AOL allows implementing the
protocol into an open-source project like we are.
