This is really strange... Do you get anything relevant in the logs
with set("log.level",5)?
The diff between the two versions of ocaml-ogg is really minimal:

Could you also try with ocaml-ogg 0.4.5, removing lines 325 to 327 in
ogg_stubs.c?
(This is the only modification between the two versions which could
affect you as far as I can tell...)
