I've been looking for a similar thing. But because i lack the skills in scripting for liquidsoap i found a work-around. I create playlists for genres, then i randomize them, and then i merge these randomized genre-lists into one list that i feed to liquidsoap. Not the easiest way i reckon, but it works...
