Hello all,
I wanted to install Liquidsoap via OPAM, as it seemed like a
painless way to get some external libraries that are otherwise difficult
to come by, E.G. FDKAAC. I followed the instructions
<https://www.liquidsoap.info/doc-dev/install.html> to the letter, but
after entering "opam depext taglib mad lame vorbis cry samplerate
liquidsoap", I got this error, or a variant thereof, consistently across
Fedora and FreeBSD, and couldn't even get this far on Ubuntu.
# Detecting depexts using vars: arch=x86_64, os=linux,
os-distribution=fedora, os-family=fedora
[ERROR] No solution for taglib & mad & lame & vorbis & cry & samplerate
& liquidsoap: Sorry, no solution found: there seems to be a problem with
your request.
Command failed: opam list --readonly --external
--resolve=taglib,mad,lame,vorbis,cry,samplerate,liquidsoap returned 20
Please help? Is something wrong on the repository end? My end?
What's happening?
Thanks in advance,
Nick
