Hi All,

I have been attempting to create an AAC+ stream with liquidsoap 1.4.3 with all the required items installed on Ubuntu 18.04

No problem to create mp3 or aac stream but the AAC+ coding just does not work

We need AAC+ to deliver audio over a IP circuit that is unreliable for mp3 traffic.

The problem is not the ISP's at either end, it's the heavy haulage in the middle operated by some obscure 3rd party and we can't route around it.

I want to switch to liquidsoap so we can add some processing to the audio.

I have tried to access ffmpeg externally and only some of it works.

Has anyone managed to get an AAC+ stream up using liquidsoap?

regards

Robert
