It's because sawfish depends on 'a terminal to be
installed', and gnome-terminal is the default one if
you didn't install any terminal. That's gnome-terminal
whom depends on a lot of GNOME packages.
To solve this problem, you just have to choose another
terminal, such as mlterm, rxvt-ml, etc.
