It's via Xinerama, not RandR.
How about the ability to have a second screen act as an independent workspace? I run with a single screen and 9 workspaces in a 3x3 grid. I use the numeric keypad [1-9] to easily access them. What I would really love to do is to use a second screen as the 10th workspace and put it on the keypad's 0 key. That way when I want something on the second head I just jump it to workspace #10. Is this possible? -- If you'll excuse me a minute, I'm going to have a cup of coffee.
