IDEA is coming up with direct sbt project importing (it actually already works fantastic for some projects). I created an issue — which is now in YouTrack: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/SCL-6273 — for them to support the android plugins. I encourage you to take a look at the discussion and vote :)
