I’ve used play-json ("com.typesafe.play" %% "play-json" % "2.3.0",
http://www.playframework.com/documentation/2.2.x/ScalaJsonCombinators) and
validation
(https://github.com/jto/validation,
http://jto.github.io/articles/play_new_validation_api/)
without a problem. As a bonus, it’s very cool, configurable with type
classes and modular rules, and uses no runtime reflection (unlike
spray-json, json4s, and probably argonaut).
