Hello, I am running a mysqllvm64 instance. I started it yesterday, dumped my data into it, created a bundle, shut it down. Then today I brought it back up and the LVM allocates fine, s3 download the snapshot, but it fails on rebundling the snapshot it just extracted and applied.
I went onto the box and figured out that the user permissions were not correctly persisted through the snapshot... all the databases, the records, everything was there, but there was no debian user, no root user, only a user that I created yesterday and that user didnt even have all the permissions I had granted it. Therefore the bundle script could not login to the db (in fact the mysql command doesnt even work since there was no root user) and failed to initialize. Whats going on here? Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. -Michael --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "scalr-discuss" group.
