Well I'm back in the hell of the DB falling out of touch, getting
terminated, and then the new instance not coming up soon enough (<
1800 seconds), so it gets terminated, and the cycle starts all over.
This is Farm 864

But this time, I can't find the hostup timeout setting so that I can
make it even longer. I thought it used to be in the System Settings
page, but I don't see it there. So where is it?

And I still never got an answer about why the instance generates a new
bundle as part of its initialization process. Not only does it nearly
double the init time, it runs a big risk of corrupting back up. It
would be really good if that step was removed (or at least explained).

Also is there any reason the scalr.net site is running brutally slow?
It is taking me several minutes to bring up each page, which isn't
helping anything.
