This is utter nonsense. Everyone on this list pays you guys $50 a month to run a fairly simple service, and you can't even manage to diversify your DNS? And you use some crappy third-tier provider for such a critical service? Is this, like, My First Internet Business or something? Are your paying customers for Present.ly and your other "enterprise" services running off the same crappy, unreliable network architecture?
If someone on this thread can set up an installation of Scalr on an Amazon AWS server and help me port my stuff over, please email me - [email protected]. Additionally, I suggest someone on this list forks off their own version of Scalr and offers something a bit more professional in terms of service (i.e., actually replying to my support emails with a usable answer, NOT running untested code on production servers that results in data loss, NOT keeping all of your DNS servers on one WORTHLESS third-party provider's network) as I am sure you would have quite a few customers overnight. Let this thread be an indication of the fact that Intridea doesn't understand how to deliver reliable services to paying customers. (Thanking myself that I only use Scalr as a dev environment.)
