I plan on using scalr to deploy a j2ee application in production. I currently have tomcat configured to use database pooling with the expected jdbc database url setup - "jdbc:mysql://<ip-address or hostname of db>/<database>"
When there is a mysql failover, i understand that scalr takes care of the DNS specific issues. Am I to assume that once the failover has completed, the ip-address and internal hostname will be the same? or will just the internal hostname be the same? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "scalr-discuss" group.
