Another option is to add a user (run /usr/sbin/adduser bob).  The
adduser utility will prompt you for a password, but you can also use
the 'passwd bob' command to set the password.  Then, you should be
able to SCP files using those credentials. Additionally, you may need
make that user part of the 'admin' group (/usr/sbin/usermod -G admin
bob, I think).
