Hi, I have just synchronized to all a role with an Elastic IP. I don't see the new instance that was started after the successful sync getting the Elastic IP. The Elastic IP appears in the list Farms -> Elastic IPs and marked as used by the role - but no instance is noted. Decided to associate it manuslly via the AWS management console. Hope this is ok....did it once and I do not recall a problem.
Why isn't the elastic IP associated automatically? On another level.....tried the notification feature today and this is really useful and works great. Keep pouring in good stuff guys.
