Hello experts, I'm about to upgrade mysql from 5.0 to 5.1 (to use partitioning) on scalr medium servers (32 bit) based on Scalr 'mysql' role AMI. I know my questions are rather basic and obvious for experienced Scalrians but I would appreciate getting help/advice on the following questions:
1, What is the recommended way to upgrade and which version/repository/ installation method is recommended? 2. Do I have to setup something after upgrading mysql to make Scalr functionality work ( correct data directories, snapshots, backups, slave config, recovery etc..)? 3. Any issues I should be aware of ?
