I launched the new Scalr mysql 5.1 AMI mysqllvm-ubuntu-10-04 into a
standalone farm and the load average stays at ~1.4 constantly.
The server is completely idle and there is no reason for any CPU
load.

What is causing it? Is it normal? Are resources really eaten up?
Can I ignore it? I need to use it for a high load scalable production
server.

Here is some additional information:
Processlist on mysql:

78 test 85.65.34.74:45721 Sleep 7
79 test 85.65.34.74:45723 Query 0 show
