Hi Jonas

I had a different requirement on the App role and was trying to add a new
behaviour. After Igor’s advice I gave up on that idea and instead customized
the app role itself. I guess you also have no other choice.

However do not turn off mysql as the scalarizr agent seems to keep track of
that. Having said that you could instead start with the base role and
customize it with scripts possibly?

Cheers
Srini

Subject: Create new role that has master and slave servers

Hi,

I want to create a NFS role that has master and slave servers in the same way
as the MySQL role has.
How is this configured in Scalr?

I could of course start from the MySQL roles and turn MySQL off but there
should be a better way?

/Thanks
Jonas
