I had same Problem but on Ubuntu 8.04 and thats solve. Please try this: If "service snmpd status" = * snmpd is running * snmptrapd is not running
sudo vi /etc/default/snmpd Change TRAPDRUN=no To TRAPDRUN=yes After that: service snmpd restart Am Freitag, 11.
