Hi Swapnil, >From the screenshots I see that in the 1st case you have not turned key authentication in Putty. There are many tutorials that walk you through connecting to EC2 machines using Putty on Windows. See this one, for example: http://pinehead.tv/linux/connect-to-amazon-ec2-using-putty-private-key-on-windows/
2nd case: private key permissions are too open, as complained by ssh. This is explained in our wiki: http://wiki.scalr.com/display/docs/Servers+and+Instances#ServersandInstances-Connectingtoyourinstances Regards, Nick On Mon, Feb 25, 2013 at 12:15 PM, Swapnil Baheti <[email protected]>wrote: > Dear All, > > I am trying to ssh into my instance but unable to do so.Please read > following steps which I have took ,Kindly reply if you can suggest anything. > > Fisrtly,I have downloades SSH private key from the Options tab under > role. Then I generated private key using PuttyGen. > > 1) Initially I tried using putty.
