I have some scripts in my instances that were depending on the EC2 tag scalr-farm-name to get the farm name. This was working fine in my earlier Scalr setup. After setting up the latest scalr, i find that the tag is still not available for the instance after booting, looks like it is set after a lag unlike before.
Would global variables at a farm level work instead? Would the variables be available on booting immediately? What is the best solution if not global-variables.
