Deprecation is planned due to the fact that we're not in business of providing managed mongo. It's very hard to administer and there are too many use cases on how mongo can be used, so it's super hard and time consuming for us to provide superior experience with our built-in automation and we would prefer to spend engineering time on improving other pieces of our software where our value is.
