Hi Mike,I have it on the schedule. I will see you and hopefully several others
there as well. I installed Fedora 10 Live CD. Nice install that was quick and
simple - a ton better than Fedora 9.Now if I could only get it to boot: I get
GRUB error 2, bad file or directory.
It appears that Fedora 9 broke GRUB when it introduced UUIDs.(I could not get
Fedora 9 to boot either. The only way I could get Fedora 9 to install
was to dedicate the entire disk to it.)
However, now there is a lot more info on the forum so I will try what they
suggest: I will update GRUB in the MBR with a patched version and if that does
not work, Jason Cross had done this: Replace the UUID in menu.lst and fstab
with the location for root in the /dev/sda7 format.
