Ignas and Vidas are working on consolidating the UI changes we
instigated at our spring in July. They've come up with a couple
additional mockups for ways to represent what is currently a row of
navigational buttons underneath the tabs that designate the main
applications within SchoolTool (I'm using "navigational" loosely
here... for example in the case shown, the buttons switch between
day/week/month views, so it is more a change in mode or view than
navigation).

Have a look:  http://vidas.pov.lt/st/

For me it is a toss up between the first two,

1) buttons (which is closest to what we did in New Hampshire);
2) a second row of tabs. I don't generally like two rows of tabs, but
perhaps it works here.

I'm more dubious about 3) which essentially turns the row of tabs or
buttons into a menu bar, which I'm afraid takes on an entirely
different meaning. I see this row as representing navigation or mode
within a given domain.

The last "widget" choice, I don't think is done.

Anyhow, your feedback is requested.
