Hi, all, By now you have likely heard that the first STS colloquium of the semester will be held on Monday, 14 September at 4pm in room E51-095, featuring Prof. David Nye. Note that as usual for STS colloquia, Prof. Nye's presentation will be based on a pre-circulated paper, which is available via email from Carolyn Carlson <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>>.
As some of you have likely noticed, 14 September falls in the midst of Rosh Hashanah this year. I deeply regret this scheduling overlap, and I apologize to those in our community who will not be able to attend the colloquium because of the holiday. I hope you have been enjoying a relaxing summer and I look forward to seeing you soon - best, Dave _____________________________ David Kaiser Germeshausen Professor of the History of Science and Professor of Physics Department Head, Program in Science, Technology, & Society Massachusetts Institute of Technology 617 253-4062 [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> http://web.mit.edu/dikaiser/www
