Hi, I've worked on a "proof of concept" chess DB for Pocket PC (that's not exactly a Scid port). For now, I think I solved all technical problems (that is the project is feasible). Using arm-gcc to compile Toga, Evolane distribution of Tcl Tk for Pocket PC, I managed to launch Toga from a Tcl/Tk script, get reliable communication between the two processes via local sockets and despite Toga analysing, the UI remains responsive. A good point is that the same sources (C, C++ and Tcl/Tk) are used for Linux and pocketPC, making debugging easy. Right now, no usable UI is available. If some coders are interested, let me know. Maybe this will not go far, but at least this was just for fun ...
