I see, it is also the case for number 5. By the way I looked at some chessx
backgrounds and some are nice. See what I mean ;-).
So some of the current background in Scid should be removed (I want to limit
their number) in order to insert some better looking ones.

Maybe you have a file ~/.scid/scidrc that was used in older version of Scid
(before 3.4). If you remove it, this should fix this (this was my case).
