Hi!
As I just stumble upon it in some "advanced chess" game:
When I analyse the final position and add multiple
variations at the end of the game I get something like this:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Red3
(this is actually the last move in the game)
29.... Nb6
( [Deep Shredder 11 UCI] 11:-2.19 29...Nb6 30.Bg2 Qc7... )
( [Deep Shredder 11 UCI] 11:-2.07 29...Qc7 30.Bh3 Nd6... )
( [Deep Shredder 11 UCI] 11:-1.28 29...e4 30.Rd4 Qc7 ... )
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, this has a slight problem insofar as in an ongoing game
29. Nb6 (the best line of the engine) must not be appended
at the end as a move, as then I can not save the analysis:
If I do not want to follow the engine I'd have to replace
this move and I'll loose the analysis.
I'd suggest to use the following way to annotate at the end
of the game
----------------------------------------------------------------------
29. Red3
(this is actually the last move in the game)
( [Deep Shredder 11 UCI] 11:-2.19 29.Red3 Nb6 30.Bg2 Qc7... )
( [Deep Shredder 11 UCI] 11:-2.07 29.Red3 Qc7 30.Bh3 Nd6... )
( [Deep Shredder 11 UCI] 11:-1.28 29.Red3 e4 30.Rd4 Qc7 ... )
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That is, repeat the last move _within_ the analysis line.
This is actually the way I add my manual analysis right now.
