I just tried this in the following way:
- Slot 1: Correspondence
- Slot 2: RefBase
- Slot 9: Clipbase
RefBase is also opened as tree. I switch to Correspondence. Go to the
position of interest. The tree is updated.
Now I switch to RefBase, I get the same position in the first game of
the RefBase.
I open the games list (Ctrl-L). RMB on the first game. Indeed, "Merge
game in other base" shows "Correspondence". Fine.
Gerd, does this solve your use case to your liking as well? To me it
seems logical in all stages. (Still I can also follow your idea how it
should work.)
2nd try, same setup.
I am in Correspondence again and go to the position of interest. I open
the games list (Ctrl-L). I switch to RefBase, the games list is updated
accordingly. Again RMB on the first game, "Merge game in other base" now
does NOT show Correspondence but RefBase.
<confused />
This seems reproducable here. Probably, just a menu update for games
list is lacking that should be bound in some way to the db change like
the list buildup itself?
BTW: Is the "merge game" item in this very context menu now obsolete?
I'm not sure about it.
