No need for Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V. It would be very well sufficient if the
edit widget would not mark an empty line and thus overwrite the current
clipboards contents. I could happily use the middle mouse button to
paste the clipboard as usual.
(Besides: I do not have such a behaviour in any other app. It's just
Scid that tends to select widgets contents by default.)
