May I make this a feature request then, for upcoming releases? Of
course, I have a lot of respect for all your efforts to add powerful new
features to Scid, for example to make Scid more FICS-compliant, but I
already have a good interface that connects me to FICS and I do not need
a second one.

I am using Scid mostly for what it was originally meant to be (at least
as I understood it): a database application, i. e. a base where I shift
chunks of data to and fro, and copying variations is the most basic and
most frequent task I am faced with. A "Copy Variation" (and "Paste
Variation") menu item with clickable options (like: Include
subvariations: yes/no; Include comments: yes/no; Copy xy/all moves of
this variation; ...) would be wonderful.

I don't know any better way in Scid.
