Hey all, I just published the first public beta of *libscid*, a standalone library that makes Scid's legendary chess game and database capabilities available to other applications and services.
It exposes a C ABI and comes with Python bindings included. You can use it to parse and edit PGN, navigate variations, work with legal positions, and create or search SCID5 databases. - Release: https://github.com/bahmanm/libscid/releases/tag/v1.0.0-beta.1 - C/C++ Quick Start: https://libscid.bahmanm.com/capi/tutorials/quick-start/ - Python First Steps: https://libscid.bahmanm.com/python/tutorials/quickstart/ I'd love to hear your tthoughts whether this could be useful in your work with Scid, and/or what kind of integrations or capabilities you'd rather see. -- Bahman Movaqar Problem solver & Software engineer BahmanM.com & github.com/BahmanM
