                                                           HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS,
                                                           MIDDLE/ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Saturday, September 29, 2001            (7-8) STUDENTS,
                                                           TEACHERS, AND PARENTS
 

Saturday, October 6, 2001                  UNSTRUCTURED WORK SESSION,
                                                           MEET ONE-ON-ONE WITH A
                                                           SCIENTIST
 

Typical format for the first two workshops will include a Video, "How to Prepare a Science Fair Project;" Actual Demonstration of a Project (this Fall's theme will be on chemistry projects); CPS Science Fair Information, Protocols; and Students discussing their actual Science Fair Projects.  University science and mathematics faculty and staff will be present to answer individual questions as time allows, and information is available on preparing science fair projects, resources, and ideas.

The Workshop on October 6th will be unstructured and is meant to provide maximum opportunity for individual discussions between students, parents, and teachers and University science and math faculty and staff.
Ample parking is provided in University lots adjacent to the Science Building.
