Experimental Error: Apparently many judges have complained at the State Fair that students do not consider the experimental error associated with their measurements and data collection. As a result, last year IJAS included a section on 'Estimating Experimental Error' in the guidelines.
See page 6 of the 2001 CSSF Science Fair Handbook for an example of how to introduce this concept to your classes.
