When I insert 'gcc' and 'make' into the %post section of the kickstart file, they fail to execute, as these tools are apparently unavailable yet in chroot environment. Is it not possible to run these commands at all before the cd/dvd image creation, and for custom software it is necessary to make rpm package files and put them in a local repository? Any information or direction to documentation on this topic would be appreciated.
