Hi All,

I realize that this is really off topic, but I have seen posting on
Virtual Box on the list, so I think some may find the following
interesting. (I risk being a troll here but ...)

I got an eMail on my tdf-announce (The Document Foundation,
A.K.A. Libre Office) that Oracle has just donated Virtual Box
the Apach Foundation. Yipee!!!

"Today we welcome Oracle's donation of code that has
previously been proprietary to the Apache Software
Foundation, it is great to see key user features released
in a form that can be included into LibreOffice."

Now, maybe we can get some bugs fixed! (I am migrating to
KVM shortly, but ...)

Sorry: OpenOffice is donated, not VirtualBox ...

Oh poop! Maybe they will eventually donate Virtual Box too.

I left Open Office (OO) as soon as I got wind of Libre Office. I have
several bugs posted in OO that OO refuses to fix. One is
over eight year old: the one where spaces do not show at the
end of your line. My bug posting where copying and pasted mixed
format (colors and fonts) screw up mightily is year and years old
too. I am not sure what Apache is going to do with OO since it is
so bug riddled.

p.s. me needs to improve my reading skills.
