As it's a change from (addition to, rather) TUVs release, it is (presumably) difficult to do that without further differentiating from upstream. It's a tiny thing and it is, and AFAIK always has been, mentioned in the release notes (as it's a difference from TUV). You have no excuse to not be aware of it other than laziness.
