Flights are launched in Florida and controlled in Houston. They LIKE for them to land in Florida, because it saves a cross-country ground trip on a big truck from California if there's a weather situation...
They also like for them to land in one piece. Seems like they're panicking just a little with this one, huh? -------Original Message------- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: 08/08/05 06:07:24 To: scifinoir2@yahoogroups.com Subject: [scifinoir2] Space Sations What is the difference between Kennedy Space Station, Johnson Space Station and Cape Canaveral? Mission Control is at Johnson Space Center in Texas. Kennedy is in Florida. Cape Canaveral is in Florida. Do all flights launch from Kennedy and return to Texas?
