I think I wrote a few weeks ago that "Ghost Whisperer" was weak, but might succeed if the "Touched By An Angel" crowd glommed onto it. I can only figure that's what happened. I watched one show that I found to be weak and emotionally manipulative. I then caught part of a second, and it was a yawn. But I guess it's pulling in those who like easy feel-good drama. I'm hoping "Threshold" gets to continue. It has potential.

"Criminal Minds," an FBI drama starring Mandy Patinkin and Thomas Gibson, has had a more challenging time facing off at 9 p.m. Wednesday against ABC's "Lost." show has averaged 11.3 million viewers and a 3.3/8 in adults 18-49. "How I Met Your Mother" has done a respectable job so far in the 8:30 p.m. Monday slot, holding or building slightly on its "The King of Queens" lead-in and improving CBS' year-to-year performance in the time period. After four airings to date, "Mother" has averaged 10.4 million viewers and a 3.7/9 in the key demo.
