I think you're right, and GvsE was on USA. I get them crossed a lot, because
they're all under the same ownership umbrella now. Shouldn't, since USA seems
to get the better sci-fi. Go figure...

about its cancellation: what a waste of a great show! That was the
downslide of the great scifi rebirth period I'd mentioned. all those
great shows were created, and then in short order, they were cancelled
left and right. If the two eps of "First Wave" I saw are any
indication, they had bad writers on the series who had no imagination. I
mean, I can think of several times where someone has used music aimed at
young people to take over the world. Hell, there was even a crappy
episode of "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" where some bad guy used
funky futuristic disco music to broadcast a destructive signal. Not
original at all. "The Jeri Ryan Solution"? That's funny, although I'd go
more with the "Heather Locklear Solution"--at least for non-scifi shows!

I remember hating Invisible Man, mostly because it replaced G v E IIRC.
I
did end up watching most of the episodes out of just not having anything
else to watch. It never really grew on me. I really liked the first
season
of First Wave, though it ran out of ideas so fast the series just died.
Then
when they tried "The Jeri Ryan Solution" with Miss Lords you knew it was
over. Shark? Jumped. Anyone else want to place "The Jeri Ryan Solution"
in
the Sci-Fi dictionary? Should be useful shorthand.
