great but okay. The action and special effects were great but the
plot was weak. The script or plot just never lived up to the concept
(hype?) of the threat of a cure. The film glossed or sped over the
decision of some mutants to join Magneto's posse versus Xavier's.
And, the film never explored Rogue's decision... which would have
been very interesting. IMHO, the film tried to cover too much and
tried to wrap up way too many loose ends.
The post-credits surprise scene was no surprise given the interviews
by Stewart and McKellan on the TV Guide channel. They should have
slapped a big SPOILERS on that interview.
The 3rd film in a trilogy doesn't always do too well. The 3rd
Jurassic Park film sucked. X3 was far, far better than that
Jurassic3, but I enjoyed the 3rd Matrix film more.
