"Cars" is apparently the last project under the old Disney Pixar shingle. It's done pretty well! My son has become a HUGE Pixar fan and it would really be bad if the movies turned all Dreamworks-y.
One day I happened across the snoozefest that is "Conversations with Michael Eisner", a "talk" show on MSNBC. ( http://www.msnbc.msn.com/ id/10789058/ ) Anyway, Michael interviewed his successor, who indicated that the Pixar acquisition was to add Pixar's strength to Disney's arsenal, and I haven't heard of anyone being fired at Pixar yet, so it looks like it's a match made in Taiw - I mean heaven!
