If any of you notice the Final Four players here in Atlanta sneezing and sniffling, don't be surprised. Pollen levels here are at near-record levels. Note from the chart below that a pollen count over 120 is extremely high, affecting just about anyone with any sensitivity to allergens. Atlanta's pollen count today?5738 !! I washed my car fully at noon, and by 5 pm the same day, I could literally write my name in the pollen that had settle back on it.
I-am-MISERABLE! My eyes are red and swollen from tearing up and the abrasions of me wiping them. I've gone through two full boxes of tissue in one day. My throat itches, my nose is congested, the air wheezes in my lungs when i breathe, and I can't sleep at night for all the sneezing. Been reduced to doing old-ass country remedies like forcing saline solution up my nose to clean out my sinuses. On the plus side, Atlanta has got to be the most beautiful city in America this time of year. You really should see it. The colors of the flowers and trees are breathtaking--literally. :( ******************************************* The chart below details pollen counts and what they mean.
