if not Talia, then how about Selina Kyle--a *good* one? A sultry, slinky, dangerous-but-attractive actress as Kyel woud be cool. They'd just have to be careful not to let the romance overwhelm the movie, as the boy-meets-girl story can sometimes dilute the power of the subject matter. It'd depend on the script and the right actress, a lady with real danger and sex appeal at the same time. And no--not Angelina Jolie! How about a talented unknown?
-------------- Original message -------------- From: Martin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Keith, I'd also like to see them work Talia into the mix, and maybe ever Damien, Batman's son by Talia. [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Great news, though none of the villains mentioned excites me. I've always hoped for the return of Ra's Al Ghul for the third film. Outside of the Joker, Ra's has always been my fav Batman villain, probably for how Ra's straddles the line with "reality" and "fantasy", his being an immortal touching on elements of magic and such. As someone with vast resources and an unshakeable self-confidence, Ra's isn't some crazy psycho like the others in the Rogue's Gallery. He's more like someone with a very different ideological or world view than the Dark Knight. He reminds me more than anything in his opposition to Batman of Lex Luthor--the cool, devious, Machiavellian Lex, not the green spacesuit nutty one. Just watching Batman and Ra's stare each other down, the battle of wills searing the screen or the page, is a treat, and decidedly different from him facing the outlandishly garbed jabbering fools like Joker, Riddler, etc. Plus, Ra's *is* immortal (supposed to be) has centuries-long plans, and owes Bats some payback. So I'd love to see Liam Neeson return as Ra's and match wills with Bruce again. And wouldn't it be cool if they brought in some sexy, sensuous dark-haired beauty to play Ra's daughter? -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Tracey de Morsella (formerly Tracey L.
