*Just* Ellen. IMO, Oprah and the Good Doctor (insert gagging sounds) are both
harbingers of the Apocalypse...

i can see that. So, watching her show while recuperating, eh? I guess that
means you also have a crush on Oprah, Rikki, and Ellen, and Dr. Phil is looking
pretty good too, huh?!

I wasn't overwhelmed by her either at first, Keith. But, when recovering from
pneumonia a few years back, I happened to end up watching her show one
afternoon. Her personality really hooked me, and then she became easier on the
eyes as I went on.

Must be something wrong with me. I've always thought Tyra Banks was okay; cute,
but okay. She's never made me do the tongue lolling out of the head thing,
though.

Tracey, I caught this story on the news yesterday and, for the rest of the day,
I couldn't keep that line from Austin Powers out of my head.

"That's a *man*, baby!" (guess it's still there...)

Seriously, I can't help but wonder whether this is against the rules of the
contest. (Not that I've ever wasted a minute's time on this show, despite the
Appeal That Is Tyra.) Even if it isn't, I bet there'll be tests to prevent it
from ever happening again.

Last season saw a plus-sized woman win "America's Next Top Model." Could this
be the season for a transgender winner?
One of the 14 women competing on the 11th cycle of "America's Next Top Model"
is transgender, reveals Us Weekly.
"My cards were dealt differently, " says Isis, 22, who describes herself as "a
woman born physically male."
Isis, who shares a name with the ancient Egyptian goddess, doesn't necessarily
see herself as a role model for transgender people though.
"I like to help people, but I'm here to follow my dreams," she says.
Hailing from Prince George's County, Maryland, the former receptionist
currently lives in New York City and works as a program assistant at a
non-profit organization.
GLAAD president Neil Giuliano thinks Isis' presence on "ANTM" is "an
unprecedented opportunity for a community that is underrepresented on
television. We applaud Tyra Banks and The CW for making this historic
visibility of transgender people possible."
"Top Model" returns to The CW for a special two-hour premiere on Wednesday,
Sept. 3.
