It's an interesting list, but the title "WTF?" is a bit of a misnomer to my mind. Many of the things mentioned--the fate of Batman co-creator Finger, the death of Jason Todd, the appearance of the first Superman--aren't moments that shock and stun people, puzzle people, anger people. They're more like great and memorable moments in comic history. The Heroes Reborn world Franklin Richards created, the New Avengers forming and including Spider-Man, those are more milestones, maybe intriguing, but not something that make one go "WTF?". Also, I must say that colloquially, a "WTF?" moment is usually one bearing the connotation of being something you don't like, something you think is kind of stupid. Thus, Spider-Man revealing his secret identity to the world, the Mephisto deal with Peter and MJ that literally erased their marriage, qualify as a "WTF". And maybe some things that turn out to be cool but are incredibly stunning at first qualify, such as Bucky Barnes being resurrected as the Winter Soldier. But a large part of this list doesn't meet that standard to me, rather just being memorable moments in comic history.
In my humble opinion, but then, WTF do I know? -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Omari Confer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I HEART THIS LIST... http://www.ugo.com/comics/wtf-moments-in-comics/?cmpid=ppc_ggl_ugo_wtfc_092908&gclid=CLf52qWTsJYCFQSwFQodUG-wLQ -- cwm blog http://centralheatingblog.blogspot.com STRING THEORY http://www.stringtheory.mypodcast.com
