Pearl, Mississippi is a small town where Obama supporters were afraid to put signs on their lawns supporting their candidate. School children were told on Wednesday not to say "President Obama," or they would face disciplinary action. Two children were caught saying President-elect Obama's name and were kicked off their school bus. Freedom of speech is apparently taking a back seat ride in Pearl.

Another parent said that a coach at Pearl Junior High School told students that if they speak Obama's name, they would face expulsion. Parents said the incident is sad as America begins a new presidency. "They feel like they are afraid to say our president's name because they will get in trouble," mother Canishia Simpson said. "They shouldn't have to feel that way."
