And if the two Schwartzs have it their way, Michael Cera will be slipping into that famous red shirt and white hat as Gilligan. They are also currently trying to nab Beyonce as sexy movie star Ginger. Speaking with Tv Guide during his induction into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Sherwood explained that a deal, "Just happened in the last 48 hours. I can't take this much excitement at my age." Dawn Wells, who played Mary Ann on the hit series, likes the idea of Beyonce playing Ginger and stated, "There isn't anybody sexier than Beyonce!" The Gilligan's Island movie doesn't have a set start date at this time, and no actors have been signed just yet.
