Optimus Prime and the other Transformers have vanquished another Hollywood milestone. "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" shot past the $300 million mark domestically on Tuesday, after just 14 days in release. That makes it the second-fastest movie to top $300 million, behind 2008's "The Dark Knight," which did so in 10 days.
The "Transformers" sequel has topped $600 million worldwide. The first installment, released in 2007, took in $319 million in North America and $700 million worldwide.
